The Journey From Working Mom to Online Content Creator

It has been a slow start, but I am stepping into the world of online content creation while juggling the roles of a working mom. It's a journey filled with twists, turns, and unexpected discoveries, and I'm excited to share it with you.

Every day, I don my professional hat, taking on the challenges of a full-time job. Then, as the evening sun sets and I tuck in my little ones to bed, I'll pull out my lap top and start researching how to people are navigating the online landscape. I researched everything under sun, and everything says that I need to find my niche, what's the one thing that I want to talk about? What is it about me and my interests that I could build a brand around? And that's the hard part for me. I cannot pick just one thing. I'm a complicated person with lots of interests. Yeah I'm a mom, but I also like gaming, and puzzles, and reading, and food etc. the list goes on and on.

I have learned that in order to be successful in content creation you have to be consistent; which is another thing that I struggle with. Entering the online content creation space feels like stepping onto a speeding train. There are new platforms, algorithms, and techniques to grasp, and it's overwhelming. My ADHD brain will bounce into hyper focus on KDP, and then I'm off making tiktoks for a month and before I know it, it's been months and I haven't posted anything on my blog. I'm constantly absorbing knowledge from YouTube and other creators, but I'm still struggling to navigate the applications and different platforms.

I've come to realize I could do anything, but I can't do everything. I'm not here to mimic others; I'm here to share my own experiences, quirks, and insights. My content is an honest reflection of who I am – a working mom with a passion for creativity, many many interests, and a desire to share the journey.

In this world of online content creation, I'm learning that passion, drive, and dedication can go a long way. As a working mom, I'm proving that it's never too late to pursue your passions. Each step forward, no matter how small, is a victory. I'm excited to see where this journey will lead, and I'm grateful for the opportunity to share it with you.
