1. Paper Plate Flowers

Turn those leftover paper plates into a bouquet of beautiful spring blooms!



You’ll Need:

  • Paper plates

  • Markers, crayons, or paint

  • Scissors

  • Glue or tape

  • Popsicle sticks or straws

Instructions:

  1. Cut flower shapes out of paper plates.

  2. Let your kids decorate each one with bright spring colors.

  3. Attach the “stem” using a popsicle stick or straw.

2. DIY Bird Feeders Using Toilet Paper Rolls



Attract birds to your backyard while teaching kids about nature.

You’ll Need:

  • Empty toilet paper rolls

  • Peanut butter or honey

  • Bird seed

  • String (optional)

Instructions:

  1. Cover the outside of the roll with peanut butter.

  2. Roll it in birdseed until coated.

  3. Slide it onto a branch or hang it with string.

3. Egg Carton Caterpillars

Re-use those egg cartons to create colorful caterpillars that wiggle into spring!



You’ll Need:

  • Empty egg cartons

  • Paint or markers

  • Googly eyes (optional)

  • Pipe cleaners or yarn

Instructions:

  1. Cut the egg carton into a row of cups.

  2. Decorate each “segment” of the caterpillar.

  3. Add eyes and antennas with pipe cleaners.

4. Nature Collage Art

5. Sock Bunnies

You’ll Need:

  • An old sock

  • Rice or stuffing

  • Ribbon or string

  • Marker for eyes/nose

Instructions:

  1. Fill the sock with rice and tie it to form a body and head.

  2. Use a marker to draw the face.

  3. Tie a ribbon around the neck and cut the top to make ears.
